The kitchen is a great place to start your spring cleaning routine.
- Organize the contents of all drawers, cabinets, and pantry
- Dust, wipe, and disinfect insides and outsides of drawers and cabinets while they are empty for organization
- Dispose of any expired foods from the pantry, cabinets, and refrigerator
- Clean each shelf and drawer of your refrigerator, as well as the inside and outside of the door
- Organize and clean utensil jar, throwing out or donating any broken or seldom-used utensils
- Dust and deep clean all small appliances such as coffee makers, kettles, toasters, toaster ovens, microwaves, and air fryers
- Wipe down your knife block and sharpen knives before putting them back into the block
- Make sure any other items or decor are dusted and cleaned, such as paper towel holders, fruit bowls, clocks, artwork, etc.
- Dust and disinfect counters and backsplash
- Clean oven (with a designated oven cleaner or self-clean setting), and clean the inside and outside of the oven door
- Clean oven and stove knobs, buttons, and grates
- Vacuum fridge coils
- Clean garbage disposal
- Scrub the inside of the sink, disinfect and polish the faucet and knobs
- Replace sponges and dish rags
